Dear Nutley Tennis Member:
I would like to express that the Board of Trustees hopes that all of you have had happy and healthy
holidays. We are all looking forward to the 2010 Tennis Season and know that you are also.
We are sending you this letter to keep you abreast of the news and updates for the 2010 season.
They are as follows:
- The slate for the 2010-2009 Board of Trustees was passed by the members. It is :

- The 2010 dues were due by January 1st. All of you should have received your 2010 dues and if you have not please let us know. If you have not paid your dues at this time please do so, so that we can maintain our financial stability. ANY DUES COLLECTED AFTER FEBRUARY 29TH WILL INCUR A $25 LATE CHARGE AND AN ADDITIONAL $25 FOR EVERY MONTH THERE AFTER UNTIL PAID.
- The appeal with the Township of Nutley for the property taxes is still pending. We will keep you updated as we are informed.
- We have decided to waive all initiation fees and reduce the dues by 50% for any and all NEW MEMBERS for the 2010 season. We hope that this will spark some interest. Please get the word out to any and all friends that may be interested in joining.
- We have decided to again give any member a $50.00 finder’s fee to bring in a new member on their behalf. This fee will be deducted from their 2009 dues. If you are entitled to this savings for the 2010 season and we have not reduced your 2010 dues please call Jack Bock.
- We have decided that GUEST FEES will remain at $8.00 for the 2010 season.
- We have contracted Court Care to overhaul and recondition courts’ 1 and 2 at this time. Also, Kathy will be returning as Grounds Keeper.
- We will continue the Tuesday and Wednesday open round robins with Ray Garfinkel, but the days will be changed to Wednesday and Thursday. The balls and refreshments will be provided by the club. Check with Ray for details. (From all the members thank you Ray for your support)
- We have decided to run an in-house and member-guest tournament. We also need volunteers for the Social Committees, please call us if you are interested.
In closing please remember this is your club and any and all help is greatly appreciated, if you have any suggestions please call us. We are here to serve you and the best interest of the club.
